     Dorothy (Dottie) Dunsmore has been trained as a classical artist in the style of the Old Masters. As a graduate of the Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore, Maryland, Dottie developed her painting skills under the direction of master artist Ann Didusch Schuler as well as Carol Lee Thompson and Andrew Guerin. From mixing ground pigments with black oil in the Maroger method to emulating the fine artistry of Ann Schuler, Dottie has evolved as a fine arts painter.

     Sculpture was Dottie's first love and has developed under the tutelage of master sculptors Tylden Streett and Francesca Schuler Guerin. Her ever expanding subjects are witness to excellent training. Additional training with other fine artists has given her exciting options in her work.
